I posted that a little while ago. At this point eviction is even more certain but I can tell you its a huge pain in my ass. Its the slowest of burns.
You helped tremendously. Even if the money wasn't enough to stay in this apartment (I would have needed 5 digits worth of money to do that hon, trust me), it did help with some food and other expenses that, at the time, was really difficult for me, but your kindness did WAY more than you could possibly know.

Never been evicted myself but I've talked to people who have. No one has ever felt good about it afterward.
Kinda figured my contributions wouldn't be enough for you to stay in your 1BR or whatever it is...I also didn't think they really did anything other than remind you that someone out there is thinking about you, even if that "someone" is mostly a screen name, an online art collection & DIY snapshots. If they actually did more, then I am glad. If I believed in karma, then I'd imagine at this point I might return in the next life as something better than a dung beetle or congressman....
